News and Announcements

Did you come for the Ribbon Cutting of our new Early Literacy Play Space? We became one of only about 300 libraries nationally that have become a Family Place Library. We are the second site in Missouri. Play Space amenities include comfortable seating for adults and children; a board book reading nook; a quiet area for playing with blocks, puzzles, and other manipulatives; and the dramatic play elements of a puppet theater, doll house, train table, and a kitchen. Funds for the space were generously provided by the Bramlage Family Foundation. If you want to see some pictures of the Ribbon Cutting Click here.

We have a new page that will have our Facebook and Twitter posts, in case you do not have one of those accounts and want to see what you are missing. PLUS the page will have anything we have confirmed about our New Building. As we get closer to construction I (webmaster) hope to get pictures at least to put on that page too. Go to our New Building page and check it out.

Overdrive eBooks and Audiobooks are here! You can click on Overdrive Overdrive Missouri Libraries 2 Go here or on our home page. They will help you get started with using it on your device. Check their webpage and look on the right side for the "Getting Started My Help!" section. Do you want to listen to audiobooks on your mp3 player? Do you have an eReader? (Kindle now does too.) Do you want to read eBooks on your computer at home? All you need is your library card and set up your device following MoLib2Go instructions and you will be able to download and read/listen on your own device. You can check out up to 5 items for 7 or 14 days. You can set your preference in your account on Missouri Libraries 2 Go page.
